Live Sound Enhancement Specialist
Okaphonic was built on a simple principle: great sound doesn’t happen by accident—it’s engineered with intention, experience, and attention to detail.
I’ve been immersed in music for most of my life, beginning with singing and instrumental performance in childhood and continuing through years of work with theatre, choral, and musical theatre productions. My formal introduction to live sound came through hands-on experience in professional productions of Rent and Grease, where I trained under experienced technical direction and developed a deep respect for the discipline required to make live audio work seamlessly.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve developed as a musician and technician in parallel. As a bass player, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist (including guitar, piano, and drums), I bring a performer’s perspective to every mix. I understand not just how sound systems function—but how music is supposed to feel on stage and in the room.
That perspective is reinforced by extensive experience in audio recording and post-production. Working with minimal and budget-conscious equipment, I’ve consistently achieved high-quality results through careful mic placement, gain staging, EQ, and mixing. This technical discipline translates directly into live environments, where small adjustments—often just inches or degrees—can make the difference between clarity and chaos.
In addition to audio, I bring strong visual production capabilities, with a background in videography, camera operation, and editing. This allows Okaphonic to approach events holistically, understanding both sonic and visual presentation.
